Dana Chair and Dana Scholar Program

Dana Chair and Dana Scholar Program

Every year the University chooses an executive to serve as the Dana Chair, a position funded by the Dana Corporation. The Dana Chair serves as a mentor for a chosen group of Dana Scholars who work as a group for the year. They take a class together, work on group projects and visit many local industries where they interact with top management.

The University of Findlay’s College of Business is proud to recognize their newest Dana Chair, Mr. Charles Bishop, who will serve as the Dana Chair person for the 2007-2008 school year.

Dana Corporation is a leading supplier of axle, driveshaft, engine, frame, chassis, and transmission technologies, and employs 46,000 people in 28 countries. The company is based in Toledo, Ohio and reported sales of $9.1 billion in 2004.

The Dana Chair office is located in room 311 of Old Main and the extension is x6927.
